    energy contribution is a small part of its function, while the others are quite important which includes:
    
decrease ph value of gastric;
    
improve pepsin activity;
    
decrease bacteria activity;
    
increase nutrients digestibilities.
    
but there is some reports say that feed ph value should not below 4.8, or the piglets will refuse to take the feed.
